We are looking for a job coach/mentor/counselor to help adults with disabilities inspire our students to inspire themselves. Passion to help people is a must!

The role consists of being a mentor who is eager to support their fellow comrades. You must be able to discover people's strengths and weaknesses and tell them what works best for them. Having communication skills partnered with critical thinking are prerequisites for this job. If you truly enjoy helping other people, we would love to speak with you! Our top priority is our students and we want our staff to share in our excitement to change people's lives!

Responsibilities:

Assist clients to discover and overcome their personal barriers and set goals.
Help in the development of motivation and skills.
Assist people with disabilities in developing social and life skills.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of clients.

Requirements:

Must Have passion to help people.
Experience in working with people with disabilities is a major plus.
Ability to adhere to regulations and standards.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability.
Ability to inspire and motivate.
Ability to handle more than one client simultaneously.

Benefits:

Monday - Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Full health care benefits,401K match, and mileage reimbursement.
$14.00 an hour

We want to inspire them to become their best selves. Our mission, therefore, is to serve all consumers -- regardless of their disabilities -- and always with respect, dignity and a focus on bringing out their true potential. Our day program grows the basic, yet vital skill sets that people need both at home and in the community at large. We help our participants become more independent through volunteer work and instructive activities.
